Hello everyone! Today in class: 6-1, 6-2: You brought your Whalebooks to class and joined the Google Classroom. We finished defining the vocabulary words for chapter 1, and you wrote the definitions on page 3 of your workbook. Then you matched the words to similar words on page 4 of the workbook, and used them to complete a story on page 5. We finished class by playing a sentence-building game with the words we learned. 6-4: We labeled your workbooks and filed your worksheets from the previous classes. Then we started chapter 1 by discussing animals and what makes them unique. We learned about folktales, and what problem and solution is. Then we started defining the vocabulary words on page 3 of the workbook. Homework: If you could not join the Google Classroom in class time today, please click the link below and join it.
