Today we went over "Pecos Bill" comprehension questions and listened to the story of John Henry. Homework WB p. 14: Underline the context clue (either the synonym or antonym) Then write the definition of the bold word in your own words on the line below. You don't need to look up the words in a dictionary! Announcements 1. I passed back your Character Strengths Writing Assignment. You can find your grade on Google Classroom. If you want to improve your grade, you can make revisions. When you are done revising, press resubmit. Then I will regrade your essay! You can revise any writing assignment whenever you have time. 2. I will begin grading your 4 Square in the Google Slides. I will show you your grade next week when we begin our first draft. If you get a low score, you can fix it! |
